Terms and Conditions
Here is the boring (but important!) legal bit. My Terms and Conditions help to protect me and my customers. Please read this page carefully and if there is anything you don't understand or you have additional queries, please get in touch.
A much more detailed (and even more boring!) comprehensive list of store policies is available at the bottom of the Home Page.
Purchase Direct from Website Stock
The Warranty Period is twelve months from purchase. During this time, I will repair or replace, at no charge, any item that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and care.
I will accept returns within 30 days of purchase (website stock only) providing the item is unworn and is returned in its original condition and packaging.
Returns must be posted via Royal Mail's Special Delivery Service (at customers cost) to ensure the item is insured against loss or damage in transit back to me. If you live locally we may be able to meet in person for you to return the item to me if we are able to meet at a mutually acceptable location.
It is the customers responsibility to order the correct size (rings, chains, bracelets and bangles). If you do not know your size, please check the Sizing Charts section of the website or get in touch with me.
It is not recommended that you wear your jewellery when washing, participating in sports, sleeping or swimming. Contact with creams, perfume and make-up, solvents, bleaches, household chemicals, cleaning products, and water (particularly containing chlorine) can tarnish precious metals and/or damage stones.
Some skin types can make the silver go black (tarnish) - this is only surface discolouration and can usually be removed with a soft, clean cloth. I provide a free polishing cloth with every purchase to help you keep your jewellery looking at its best.
If you have any issues with your jewellery, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can work together to find the best solution.
The cost of shipping within the UK is at a flat rate of £7. All items are sent via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service. This cost also covers insurance of each item.
I do not charge for postage if we are able to meet in person at a mutually acceptable location. For delivery outside the UK, postage will be calculated on an individual basis.
Commissions and Custom Orders
As above PLUS;
Expected start dates and completion dates are indicative until a deposit is received. It will usually take 6-8 working weeks for your piece to be completed to allow time for fabrication and hallmarking. We will discuss timescales during our discovery call (or alternative consultation method) and I will ask for written confirmation that you wish to proceed with the commission and a 50% deposit prior to me ordering materials or starting work.
A 50% deposit is non-returnable once I have begun work on a custom piece. I may be able to make minor amendments to your design once work has begun but please contact me to discuss this as soon as possible. Additional charges may apply. The remainder of the cost (50%) is due upon completion and prior to delivery.
I am registered with Sheffield Assay Office and all custom and commissioned jewellery will be hallmarked. This is a legal requirement and must be completed prior to delivery. Lead times at the Assay Office are out of my control and during particularly busy periods, this may result in a delay to delivery. I will inform clients of any possible delays at my earliest convenience.
Where a custom piece is being made to size (rings, chains, bracelets and bangles), it is the customers responsibility to ensure correct sizing. If practicable, I am happy to meet with you to check sizing, or you may wish to purchase sizing tools, which are easily found online to make sure you get this right before placing a custom order with me.
I do not offer refunds, returns or part exchange on custom pieces unless faulty. The Warranty Period is twelve months from purchase.
