Shipping policy

For items available as 'In Stock' on the website I aim to dispatch orders within 2-4 business days from the date on which you place an order with me.

I charge a flat rate of £7 per parcel (this may include more than one item, provided they are ordered at the same time) to cover fully insured postage using Royal Mail's Special Delivery Service. This delivery option requires a signature upon receipt. If you live locally, I am happy to arrange in person collection at a mutually acceptable location. Please contact me prior to selecting this option to ensure this is available to you. 

If there is a possibility of delay to your order being dispatched in the time specified above, I will endeavour to contact you in a timely manner and will take reasonable action to mitigate against issues within my control. Sometimes delays to your order may be outside of my control (such as lead times from other organisations or payment processing issues). In such instances I will endeavour to promptly communicate delays with you and provide an estimated time for resolution. 

 

For commission or custom pieces, I will agree an estimated time for completion with you. I aim to complete commission and custom pieces within 6-8 weeks. If the service you require is particularly complex, requires specialist external services, or sourcing of non-standard materials, the timescale will be adjusted accordingly and this will be communicated to you prior to agreement of contract. In the case of extended lead times from other organisations which may impact on the completion date of a commission or custom piece, I will endeavour to communicate this to you in a timely manner.

 

For shipping outside of the United Kingdom, please contact me ahead of placing an order so I can confirm my ability to fulfil your request. Varied laws in other countries, postage and customs policy and transit time will need to be considered on a case-by-case basis.
